About Stackdle
A daily perfect clear puzzle and a free practice tool for falling-block players.
What it is
Stackdle gives you one puzzle a day: a set of pieces and an empty board, and the goal of clearing it completely. It is quick to play, the same for everyone, and easy to share with friends, like other daily puzzle games.
Around the daily puzzle are the tools that help you get better at it:
- a finesse drill that counts your key presses and shows the fastest route;
- a perfect clear trainer with a built-in solver that can show you a complete solution;
- a 40-line sprint for practising speed.
Why it exists
Perfect clears are one of the most satisfying things in competitive block stacking, and one of the hardest to learn. Most practice tools are either full of jargon or need a download. Stackdle runs in your browser, works on desktop and mobile, and explains its answers so you learn the patterns rather than just copying moves.
How the puzzles are made
Each day's puzzle is picked from the date, so everyone sees the same pieces in the same order. Before a puzzle is used, Stackdle's solver checks that it can be solved with the pieces given, including moves that tuck or spin pieces into place. Every puzzle has at least one solution.
Who makes it
Stackdle is made by MH, an independent developer and player. It is a one-person project, free to play, and kept running by donations from players.
If you enjoy it, the best ways to help are to share your daily result with a friend or to support the project.
